Their archive sale during Black Friday is actually pretty decent. I got a lovely pair of silk gloves at like 30% off a couple years ago. Not everything is on sale, but the discounts on what is available are good.

Oh, for a special occasion, absolutely! The craftsmanship is just on another level compared to Dents, especially for their silk or opera length ones. You can feel the quality difference.

I've had both and Cornelia James are definitely more luxurious. Dents are fine for everyday but CJ is more of an heirloom piece, if that makes sense.
